Corporate partnerships

Prostate Cancer Queensland is leading the fight against prostate cancer. We are currently seeking partners who subscribe to our values, whom we can share a fruitful and mutually beneficial partnership with now and into the future.

Without government funding, The Cancer Council Queensland relies entirely on the community for financial support to conduct its many programs in cancer prevention, early detection, research and patient support.

Contributions from the corporate community are vital to the success of Prostate Cancer Queensland.

Corporate opportunities
Corporate partners can contribute directly to research, education and help for men with prostate cancer and their families by:

  • Supporting a prostate cancer research project;
  • Funding the production of educational resources and materials;
  • Conducting a workplace giving program among staff;
  • Encouraging staff to participate in fundraising events such as Daffodil Day, Relay For Life and Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. Nominate a Corporate Champion in your organisation; or
  • Donating directly to Prostate Cancer Queensland.

The Prostate Cancer Queensland team works closely with interested companies to develop mutually beneficial partnership packages.

Community Speakers. The Cancer Council Queensland has trained volunteer Community Speakers who are available to speak about the early detection of prostate cancer with your staff.

“Singapore Airlines has supported The Cancer Council Queensland for the last two years. My team has a nominated person who is responsible for motivating staff to fundraise for The Cancer Council. It is great to see the development of this new initiative to lead the fight against prostate cancer.”

Alastair Lindsay, State Manager
